We live in the city of Leon, Gto., Mexico, that is localed geographicaly in the center of our Country, 3 hours away from Mexico City and 2 hours away from the city of Guadalajara. My hobby for the boxer breed takes place in my childhood however I really started in the show business 30 years ago.

Thus, I am glad to write some lines about our trayectoria in the domestic and internationational business.

My first dog was a brindle bitch called Carola, she was Am-Can-Ber-Mex-Int. Ch. Mephisto´s Stakatto´s daughter, and she was selled to me by the person who introduced to me the show business, Mr. Pedro Rodríguez. This bitch was mexican Ch.

Eventually, Mr. Rodriguez brought to Mexico a son and grandson of Ch. Morleen´s A-le-lu-ha, LOM and luckyly I could have the grandson of A-le-lu-ha called Ch. Mex. Susy´s Choice for Unlucky Six, a one year old boy who later made his mexican championship.

This excepcional dog, won more than 15 BIS and 5 Specialities in a 3 year period. It is important to mention that in those years they were only few all breed dog shows and specialities, anyhow at that thime this dog was a complete champion.

I can remember that there was a Speciality dog show in which Mrs. Jo Thomson breeder and handler of Ch. Benjoman of Five T´s, SOM, came to judge. I was so lucky to win the Challenger Coup. A prize that only the one who could wind 3 Specialities dog shows would keep the coup.

For me and my family at that time was a big satisfaction to win 3 Specialities with Susy´s Choice that we could say that is the equivalent to 3 National Championships of the Mexican Boxer Club (Mrs. Jo Thompson, Mrs. Patsy Connolly, Mr. John Connoly, Mrs. Eleanor Haeberle, etc.). In those years I personally handled my dog.

Later on, I was retired of the show business for aproximately 13 years and I came back to this exciting hobby 10 years ago, when I luckyly adquired a beautiful dog named Ch. Samin Santino-Sonny (Sanchez) grandson of Am. Can. Ch. Mephisto´s Black Sabbath, DOM.

With Sonny we could made more than 10 all breed BIS and lots of Specialities of the Boxer Breed. He also won one National Dog Show (1999 III National Boxer Dog Show organized by the Mexican Boxer Club, judge Mrs. Billie McFadden) and one regional speciality dog show (Miss Sandy Roberts).

Later on, I adquired the little bitch Ch. Mex-Am Draga of Ibiza, winning a varietey of National Dog Shows and American Dog Shows (2004 VIII National- Mrs. Terri Berrios) of the boxer breed and a Regiona Dog Show (Mrs. Billie Mc Fadden)

Ch. Am-Mex. Rankyns High Stakes At Ivlane T.T. (Gambler). In the year of 2003, I had the fortune to meet my friend Tina Starr and she was very confidence with my family to bring and show Gabler in Mexico.

However Gambler spent with us a very short time, he was able to win multiple specialities, first of groups, and first quality selection in the VII National Specialized Dog Show, organized by the Mexico Boxer Club, with the judge David Abraham.

My family and I, have special feelings and memories for Gambler. Friend Tina, thank you very much for trusting in us.

In the National Dog Show of the American Boxer Club in the year of 2004, Mrs. Olive Lee-Waters trusted in me and my family to take care of the puppy Ch. Mx-Am Suncrest´s I´m The Man (Doctor) also with all the support of Miss Lori McClain (Thanks a lot Lori).

Doctor has achieved several prizes, more tha 15 specialities of the boxer breed, 2 Nationals (2005 IX National, judge Mr. Larry Sinclair and 2006 X National, judge Alberto Berrios), in 2006 he won the First Top Twenty in the history of the Mexican Boxer Club with the judges Mr. Ruffus Burleson, Mr. José Luis Sánchez and Mr. Oscar Hernández, Doctor also achieved 2 regionals Dog Shows (2005 Mrs. Janet Sinclair and 2006 MRs. Mary Frances), winner of the first national Dog Show organized by the Azteca Boxer Club (2005 I National, Mr. Theodore Fickes), and multiple BIS of all breeds.

Nowadays, Doctor in being showed in the USA under the expert handling of Gary Steele, and Mrs. Debbie McCarroll and Mark Fagan as co-owners (thank you Debbie for your friendship and support to the Doctor´s campaign). I also want to thank Mrs. Olive Lee-Waters for her big support and love that she has to me and to Quiroz Family, thank you very much Olive.

In his campaign at the USA, Doctor is multiple winner of all breed BIS and specialities. In the last National Dog Show of the American Boxer Club 2007, he achieve the firs prize in Quality Selection.

I have mentioned some of the dogs that had lived with us, however there are more dogs in the next page that have been very important for our family.

By now, I am working in a new project named Suncrest´s High Flyer (Tiger Woods) son of CH. Seaside´s Ewo Surf Breaker Ch. Suncrest´s Dreams of Gold. I want to thank again Mrs. Olive Lee-Waters for trusting in us, I hope I could achieve big things with Tiger in our family.

I want to mention that my wife Yolanda, my son Mario and my dougther Yolis have been very important in our dog career, their effort at the Dog Shows and their constant work made our family to shine in the Dog world.

In this 2007, we are planning to begin a breeding program to create our own line, I hope I could continue learning of the biggest breeders and always with the advice of my friend Olive Lee- Waters.
